TANGO
TANGO is a program for high-throughput processing and analysis of 3D fluorescence images.
Its main features are:
- Process various signals thanks to tunable and modular processing chains.
- Performs various quantifications.
- Works with large sets of images (database storage).
- Export of quantifications to R (package rtango) or to spreadsheet.
It is multi-platform and implemented as an ImageJ plugin.
It relies on the MongoDB database system:
mongoDB
It contains specific segmentation algorithms for segmentation of nuclear signals (spots, chromocenters, nucleoli, ...).
It is currently a beta version, so interface or wiki may change. Feedbacks are welcomed.
It has been presented at the ImageJ Conference 2012 :

How to use TANGO
Go to the
download page and follow the installation instructions.
There is a tutorial in the documentation section (
getting started) in which we provide sample images and processing chains.
For question/suggestions, don't hesitate to use the forums we provide on this website.
